K9 Home Boarding is a small, family run business in Market Harborough. Mary is licensed with Harborough District Council and has been providing a home boarding service since 2014. There are no kennels outside, your dog lives in her home as a member of the family.
The dogs have access to a secure garden with decking area and have free run of the downstairs of her family home. It is truly a home from home service. Mary’s husband Mark and eldest son Daniel help with walking the boarding dogs too. Both are insured and are granted permission under Mary’s licence to walk dogs in public areas.
Boarding dogs are walked in the local parks, along the canal or in the fields close to Mary’s home. Walking requirements will be discussed when you come for the “meet and greet”.
K9 Home Boarding is licensed with Harborough District Council – Licence reference AW016.
Mary will arrange for you and your dog to visit her home in advance to meet with her family. We will discuss your dog’s needs, learning its routine and behaviour. It is important to ensure that your dog will be compatible with her family and any other resident dogs. The “meet and greet” session also allows your dog to familiarise itself with the environment and avoids stress when they come to stay.
