Delivered with care and compassion, we provide a variety of dog services that are tailored to your individual needs. We understand that your dog is a much loved member of your family, and whilst with us, will be a part of ours.

Here at K9 Companions we have always had Dogs of our own and have a great passion for animals. We believe that exercise is a massively important part of a dogs life it keeps them happy and well balanced and makes having a dog a highly enjoyable experience. With People having to work longer hours now it is getting more difficult for owners to be able to find the time to give their dog the proper amount of exercise. You can stop worrying that your dog is not getting enough exercise or attention and you will start to see a much happier dog.

About K9 Companions

Hello our names are Scott & Shannon, we are the owners of K9 Companions based in East Ayrshire. We both had dogs growing up and love all animals and have always wanted a career to work with dogs. Dog walking to us is not just a job it’s a commitment. We are committed to providing the best service we possibly can, every pet is like a new addition to our family. We are licensed, insured, and disclosed (police checked). We are fully committed to the dogs in our care. We believe that for dogs to be truly healthy, inside and out, they should be provided appropriate mental and physical stimulation, and get to spend time in nature with their own kind.

All walks are covered by 2 people on each walk to make sure all dogs have an extra set of eyes on them for safety, which also means dogs get equal amount of attention. We are based in Hurlford and cover Irvine Valley, Kilmarnock and surrounding areas. And here at K9 we have a large selection of dog coats to keep all of our dogs warm in the winter months.

• Saturday beach walk £10 for 1 hour

It’s that simple. When your dog is out with us at K9 Companions you can rest assured they will be having a great time.

We collect your four legged friend from your home and take them out for an exciting and stimulating walk. We use lots of different types of locations for our walks, like parks, woodland, beaches. The safety and security of your dog is paramount and so all of our walks are chosen with this in mind. Dogs are walked on the lead to begin with and then, with your permission, and when we deem it appropriate and safe to do so, we will let them off.

The majority of our walks are 1 hour group walks where our dogs get to have lots of fun with their friends. Once home again, we will rub them down, refresh their water supply and give any food you wish to be given to your dog.

Pet Taxi Services

We offer a taxi service for all your dogs and cats needs. If you have an appointment for the vets and your lift lets you down we offer a service to get you and your pet there safe and sound. If your cat or dog had an appointment at the groomers we’re here to get them there in time for there beauty treatment. Call to discuss prices and for times we have availability.

Toilet Breaks – £5

We offer a service for elderly dogs that just can’t manage a walk or for pups who are not big enough for a walk yet. These are 15/20 mins breaks to allow the dog to get the toilet, please see our price list for details.

We ask that all dogs are up to date with vaccinations,worming and flea treatment.
