Hunts Happy Hounds is a dog and puppy training school that was setup in 2014 by Lisa Hunt to provide a fun, friendly training atmosphere for pet dog owners. We provide various dog and puppy classes as well as one to one sessions either at our training ground or home visits.
We specialise in dog sport classes such as agility, Hoopers and scentwork. We use up to date science based training methods using motivational techniques such as markers, food and toys and the dog’s welfare is always at the heart of our training so no pain or force is ever used.
We are located near High Wycombe, Bucks and train in a beautiful, safe, fenced, outdoor area.

Puppy Classes & Training

Booking a puppy onto a training programme in the early stages of its development really does set them off on the right path to becoming a well mannered dog who will be welcomed by friends, family and society in general. Training offers your dog or puppy mentally stimulating and rewarding challenges that he/she will need to possess to progress in life. This course is another important step towards challenging your dog into releasing its hidden potential.

Agility Classes

Our pet dog agility classes are a great way for you and your canine friend to have fun, get fit and learn new skills all at the same time.

Our classes will improve your handling skills and increase the connection between you and your dog as well as giving you an introduction to the fun sport of dog agility. Your dog will be safely introduced to jumping, weave poles, tunnels and contact equipment such as A-frame, dog walk and seesaw. Working as a team you and your dog will learn the skills to enable you to complete an agility course.

Classes are usually run on a rolling programme and progress from beginner to advanced. They are paid for in blocks of six or seven and are held at one of our outdoor venues – see the class list below for details.

One-to-One Pet Dog Agility

For anyone that would just like to have a go at agility or has a reactive dog that would not suit normal group classes we can offer one to one agility lessons. A 45 minute session costs £45 for one dog.

One-To-One Dog Training

Our one to one sessions are designed exclusively for your specific needs, whether it be a puppy home visit, training for your adolescent or adult dog or help with a newly homed rescue dog.

Training can be arranged at a time to suit you and will either be at our training ground near Hazlemere and High Wycombe or at your home or a venue specific to your dog’s needs.
