I love animals, and have had pets all my life – dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, fish, the list goes on! I set up my own pet business in 2021 to start doing what I love best – spending time with animals. Whether this is curled up inside stroking cats, or walking dogs in our amazing local countryside, I love every minute of my job.
Alongside a lifetime of experience caring for pets, I have formal CPD qualifications, including Pet First Aid Training and a Diploma in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. I am fully insured, and have an Enhanced DBS certificate and a clean driving licence. There is always more to learn, and I am continuously updating my knowledge through courses, reading scientific research and podcasts.
Dog WalkingGroup walks lasting a full 1 hour. All groups are carefully chosen to ensure that the dogs’ temperaments match for a fun and enjoyable experience. Availability for small breeds only (less than 14kg). I track each walk, so you get an email with a map and a little report after each walk. After each walk, each dog has a quick wash, and a good dry off. I no longer offer regular solo walks, but am happy to do these on a one-off basis. Please contact me for further details.

“I can wholeheartedly recommend Heather. Her love for animals is clear and she’s very professional and courteous.” – D Koper
“Really pleased with how the dog walking from Heather is working out. Teddi looks forward to her walks and is getting better every time with her training” – Jo
“My boys were well looked after, it was great to get some pictures of them. They are usually very timid of strangers, but they let Heather fuss them. Which is definitely a first. Would very happily recommend Heather, and ask her to look after the boys again” – Anon
“Heather was fantastic with our two budgies and our rabbit for the week we were away – she even watered the plants too. Heather was professional, polite, friendly and very easy to communicate with. The updates throughout the week and the pictures were also greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a pet sitter.” – Joseph
