About Us

My name is Helen and I run Happy Hounds Pet Care. It is a small family run business, my husband Matt and two children Luana and Kayla help me out on our adventures.

Within our family we have two of our own furry members; Lexi-May our older girl who is a Staffyjack (Staffordshire bull terrier crossed with a Jack Russell) and our newest member Coco who we have recently adopted who is a Staffy cross.

We live in the rural village of Rockbeare and cover all the surrounding areas such as Cranbrook, Westhill, Whimple and Broadclyst.

We live in a beautiful rural area of East Devon which means we have multiple stunning walks at our disposal to ensure each dog gets full enrichment from their walk. Whether that is somewhere to run free or somewhere there are plenty of glorious sniffs! For those dogs who love to run but don’t have good enough recall for an open space, we have a lovely secure dog field just up the road which I can hire to ensure they gain as much as possible from their time with me as they can.

We love animals of all shapes and sizes and pride ourselves on treating your pets as if they were our own.

I am canine first aid trained and have completed a two day dog training course and I am a Puppy trainer. We are fully insured for both dog walking and pet sitting.
