I have been around dogs all my life as my mum has been involved in rescue for many years.
We have always had a houseful of dogs and we tended to foster the more difficult dogs who needed help before they could be rehomed.
For most of that time we have had German Shepherd Dogs but in the last 10 years we have been helping large shepherds like Caucasians and Central Asians.
So I’m confident in my abilities with all breeds of dogs large or small.
I am happy to walk or sit any type of dog, all sizes and temperaments.
I am also available for looking after other pets such as cats, birds, even piggies etc.
When you life gets a bit crazy and you can be there for your pets, I can be there to give them love and affection and a healthy walk.
We can set up a schedule to walk your dog daily or whenever you need
I’ve been walking dogs for as long as I can remember, it’s always been a part of my life.
I will be sensitive to your dogs needs and how they are feeling and give them a big hug to reassure them.
I am happy to walk any breed of dog no matter how big or small.
This is my buddy Goliath who is a bit of a challenge to walk because he hates other dogs but it’s not a problem for me.
If you plan to go out during for day, I can offer company and walks so you best friend is not alone at home. I only offer pet sitting during the day (depending on availability)
This is our little Bron who is blind and has brain damage due to a car accident when he was a very young pup.
Although Bron has special needs, He hasn’t been a problem and has settled into a routine where he can lead as normal a life as possible without coming to any harm.
So if your pet has a disability, it won’t be a problem and his or her needs can be catered for.
In 2019 we rescued 2 female Berkshire pigs who were just 6 months old at the time.
Little did we know at the time that both girls were pregnant so we had a bit of a surprise a few weeks later when both girls gave birth. Well it certainly was a steep learning curve. So now I am Mother Of Pigs – 9 in all.
It’s lovely to see them free to eat, root, sleep repeat.
So if you have pet pigs that need care whilst you are away, look no further.
Ever since we moved into our current home we have always rescued ex battery chickens. They have such terrible short lives so it’s lovely to be able to give a few of them a chance of freedom to be able to do what a chicken should be doing.
It’s not long before they start to feather up and peck around as if they have always been here.
So if you are going away and need someone to feed your chickens and put them away for the night away from harms way, I can accommodate that.
I can’t imagine that many cats would relish being left in a cattery, Im sure they would much prefer to be in their own home.
I your cat needs looking after whilcts you are away, no problem.
