While your animals are in my care I will look after them as if they were my own. I am happy to care for animals that require medication, nursing and special care. I truly believe that animals become valued members of the family and as such I know how hard it can be to leave them in catteries or kennels while you are away. Consequently it is my aim to provide an excellent and affordable alternative, where you can be assured that your pets will receive the standard of care and attention that they deserve, whilst remaining secure and contented in their own home environment.

I also will take good care of your house and garden while you are away, picking up post, watering the garden etc. This gives the added security and peace of mind for you that your home will be occupied while you are away, hence a less likely target for break-ins and theft. As a member of the Countryside Watch scheme, run by the Cambridgeshire Police, I get regular messages from them about any suspicious vehicles or rural crime locally so that I can be alert and aware of the latest crime trends in this area when caring for your property and animals.

First of all I provide a free initial consultation where I come and meet you and your animals to discuss your requirements. This gives us a chance to discuss your animal’s daily routine and for you to show me any additional tasks that may need doing while I’m looking after your home.

• Live-in pet and house sitting
  I will stay at your property to look after your home, garden and animals. This gives you the peace of mind of knowing that your house will be occupied while you are away, and your animals cared for in their familiar home surroundings. Included in this service is feeding, basic grooming, administration of medication (if necessary), cleaning of litter trays, dog walks, pick up post, water plants and of course lots of cuddles and fuss for your pets. If you wish I can provide basic food shopping services for you e.g. ensuring there are essentials such as bread and milk in your house ready for your return.
  Prices will vary depending on location, number and type of pets and their requirements. Please enquire for your tailor made quotation. However, as a baseline figure, prices START at �25 per day for cats, �35 per day for dogs – anything outside of Haddenham may incur additional travelling expenses (time and mileage).
• Live-out petsitting – from �7.50 for a half-hour visit once a day. Prices vary according to location.
  Suitable for cats and small animals only, not for dogs left alone overnight (in this situation I can provide the perfect solution with live-in petsitting – see above). I will visit your home once or twice a day, whichever you prefer, to feed, change water, administer medication (if necessary), empty litter trays, groom and fuss your pets. I’m also happy to pick up post, water plants etc. Each visit lasts up to 30mins, but I can tailor this service to your needs, so please contact me to discuss your requirements.
• Dog walking – from �7.50 for 30mins. Prices vary according to location, number of animals and walking requirements for dogs etc. Each additional dog is charged at 50% of the original fee.
• Doggy day visits – from �7.50 for 30mins. Prices vary depending on location.
  If you’re going to be out for a long period of time I can pop in to let your dog out for the toilet, feed, top up water, administer medications (if necessary) and walk your dog if required. Please note this service is not suitable for dogs that are going to be left alone overnight.
• Small animal boarding – from �3 per day.
  I can board the following pets at my home: rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rats, fish, reptiles, tortoises…any other species, just ask!
• Holiday horse care – from �7.50 per day for a basic half-hour check. Prices vary depending on location.
  Whether it’s just a one-off or for weeks at a time I can care for your horses and ponies while you are away. I can tailor this service to your exact requirements, according to your horse or pony’s daily routine. Available services include: turning out, bringing in, pick out feet, feeding, grooming, rugging, poo picking, holding for vet/farrier/dentist, lungeing or walking out in-hand and veterinary care/administration of medication (if necessary). This service can be great for odd days when you will be out for long periods of time or returning after dark in winter months. If you keep your horses at home and have other animals then I will be happy to provide a combined service for house, horse and petsitting. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
• General equestrian care – from �14/hr. Prices vary depending on location. Services listed above, but on an ad-hoc basis.

  Details available at time of booking. All prices will be 50% extra on bank and public holidays, and double on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
