We operate our Dog boarding service licensed for upto three dogs within our family home based in Tundergarth near Lockerbie.We live in a quiet area with a secure garden surrounded by open fields.We have great local access to Lockerbie being only two miles away and are very close to motorway links just off Junction 17 on the A74 for Lockerbie. We are registered with DRYFE veterinary practice in Lockerbie.I am registered with local authority Dumfries and Galloway council to provide dog boarding within our home and we have insurance specifically tailored for home dog boarding.I also have a qualification in pet first aid.

Here at Gibsons cottage our dog boarding service aims to give your dog the best stress free experience possible.I see your dog staying with us as a holiday for your pet so we have lots of interaction and love to give to your dog whilst here with us as this is what our dog boarding service is all about and we want your dog to feel this when it comes to stay.I understand being a previous owner of various dogs over my lifetime how important it is for owners and their dogs to be happy and content with the enviroment that your pet would be boarding in.Your pet would be cared for as our own and free to roam within our house and garden.We can accept any size dog and breed to use our dog boarding services.

We moved to Scotland over a year ago and as a family we are true animal lovers.We feel blessed to live amongst sheep,horses,birds and all manner of wildlife.We enjoy every day seeing and looking after them from our own home.Rest assured your pet will certainly be cared for if you choose us to board your dog in our family home.We offer the perfect peaceful enviroment for your anxious dog.

My name is Chris and with my wife Joanne and daughter Ashley we moved to Scotland in 2022.We feel very lucky to have Gibsons cottage as our family home and love the surrounding area.Our family love being around animals and we look after wildlife as much as we can.We don’t have our own family dog but do own three hens.Our hobby’s include sculpting and painting and we have so much love for the countryside all around us.

Natural countryside enviroment

The natural enviroment we live around will be there for your dog to enjoy when boarding with us.Our garden is securely fenced with livestock fencing and is perfect for your dog to explore.Surrounding countryside is available all around us to use for exercise with open fields all around.We have amazing places to walk to very close to our cottage which we are sure will be very enjoyable for your dog to come along with us on their daily walks.
