Dog training in London and Online Training

We offer great in person Puppy training courses for your new puppy, Foundation and Improver courses and One-to-one sessions for any behaviour issues you may be experiencing. Online training is provided for puppies, reactive dogs, and adult dogs who need a refresher.

Our experienced trainers offer positive training to help you with anything from choosing a puppy or rescue dog, the crucial first few weeks, training calmness, social skills with people and other dogs, overcoming separation anxiety and other behaviours.

We have been helping puppies and dogs since 2011 and have trained more than 5000 dogs.

Our group dog training courses take place in open air venues with the surrounding enrichment of trees and foliage allowing dogs to relax and explore, giving space between the dogs if needed.

For other dogs we run Foundation Courses, Improver Courses, course for Excitable or Reactive dogs, Recall, Nice Lead Walking and more.  We also run courses for dogs and owners to explore Agility and Scentwork Games.

Our one-to-one training sessons and consultations are designed to suit  your needs, whether you need help with your New Puppy , with ongoing adult Dog Training or me more Behaviour-related issues.  Friendly Creatures provides help with choosing a new dog (puppy or rescue) and we do home assessments for Rescue Centres to enable you to foster or take on a rescue dog.

Excitable/Reactive group training – sometimes dogs are more sensitive to other dogs, strangers and children, whether they become too excited, nervous, defensive or aggressive.  We run group training and one-to-one training to help your excitable or reactive dog to learn how to remain calm in the presence of these triggers.

Online dog training is a popular option if you want to train your dog without the hassle of travelling to classes and braving the weather.  We offer a variety of group training courses at an affordable price.  We also offer online 121 behaviour help for issues such as separation anxiety, fear of people, fear of noises, aggression, resource guarding, and inappropriate toiletting.

About us

Friendly Creatures was established in 2010 by Founder Lydia Burke. Lydia, a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, created Friendly Creatures to share her love of training and caring for animals. 

Friendly Creatures helps pet owners all over London learn how to understand their pet’s behaviour and how they learn, so they can train them using force-free training techniques. 

We run dog training group classes and also offer one-to-one training and behaviour sessions for dogs and cats.
