Fallowfen Training Kennels
We were made aware today that one of the puppies we bred, Fallowfen Coral Rose, has become a finalist for The Kennel Club Hero Dog Award.
The puppy was chosen by Glyn and Amanda Cunliffe to become a companion dog for their daughter Olivia who has Cerebral palsy.
We know first hand the companionship a dog can give to a child with special needs. Our daughter Lillie mae who also has special needs wouldn’t of fulfilled the life she has if it wasn’t for her 4 legged friends
When you watch Olivia and Ruby’s story it is clear to see that there is such a big connection between the pair.
Dogs can do amazing things but lets remember companionship is something we all need in this very strange world we live in no matter who you are!
I think Glyn, Amanda and Oliva have done an amazing job of rearing Ruby to play such a special part of there lives.
Welcome to Fallowfen Training Kennels
Our Kennels are situated near Newark, Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands. We are a specialist gundog kennel training and competing dogs to a high standard.
The breeds we specialise in are Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers. All from good working Gundog lines.
We offer a Yellow Labrador Retriever stud dog a Black Labrador Retriever stud dog and a Chocolate Labrador Retriever stud dog. Also available a working Golden Retriever stud dog and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever stud dogs.
We have extensive knowledge of training a wide range of gundogs from retrievers to spaniels to HPRs and can give help and training advice for most situations.

Golden Retriever litter planned for spring 2022.
We are in the process of mating one of our Golden Retriever females.
So if you were hoping for a Golden Retriever puppy this year please get in contact so we can keep you updated with the progress as it happens!
Both parents are always fully health tested including up to date eye certificates including gonioscopy!

This litter will hopefully be born around the end of March 2022 which would make the litter ready to leave for their new homes around the end of May 2022.
Obviously, we won’t know the exact timing until the litter arrives.

Microchipping
We are qualified micro-chip implanters and offer a micro-chipping service to the public.
A micro-chip gives a dog a personal identifcation number which is unique to each and every dog/puppy.
This number is registered through Petlog who hold the database information in the event of your dog getting lost or stolen.
The implanting of the micro-chip is short and painless, it is located between the shoulder blades and is as big as a grain of rice.
Adult / puppy – £15.00
Litter of puppies – £12.00 per puppy.
