Escape 2 the Country Pet Services is a family run business offering a professional dog boarding, dog walking and tailor made pet service for people with busy lives, whether your dog visits us or we visit your dog/cat, we will give them all the love and attention that we would give our own cherished pets.
Escape 2 the Country is in a beautiful, quiet location set in the countryside of Mitford, Morpeth (half a mile off the B6343) Our spacious home and garden (no kennels) is an ideal place for dogs to have fun and make new friends with our own friendly dogs (Freya, Roxy, Tera & Szuki).
Escape 2 the Country Pet Services are insured, Police checked and have 24 years experience of living and caring for dogs in our home.
We ask that all dogs are up to date will all vaccinations including kennel cough, and are treated for fleas and worms regulary. We do not accept dogs that are/due in heat.

DOG WALKING
We will come to your home and collect your dog. We walk a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time. Your dog will be kept on lead unless stated by you. You can be happy knowing that your dog will receive the exercise it needs and is one less reason for you to worry. After having 50 mins of play, fun and interaction with me or other dogs, your dog will be delivered back home, tired, content and happy.
DOGGIE DAY CAMP
We will collect your dog from your home between 9:00 – 10:00am where they will be socialised with the pack and have lots of fun activites with other dogs. They will be given a long woodland walk (depending on how active they are) and maybe a dip in the river to cool down. They will be dropped back home between 2:30 – 3:30pm tired and happy.
PUPPIES & GOLDEN OLDIES
If your Puppy is too little for the big walks or your Golden Oldie wants a more laid back lifestyle, I can visit your home and let them into your garden for a toilet break, feed and give fresh water, clean any accidents, cuddles and/or playtime and administer any medication.
CATS & KITTENS
For your cat, I can provide care at your home, so your cat can relax in its usual surroundings. When I visit your cat, I can refresh the litter tray, change water, feed, have some playtime and give your cat some affection.
