Doncaster Dog Training and walking offers fun and effective balanced Dog training in the Doncaster area. This includes anything from lead walking, recall, general obedience to reactivity and everything in between. We offer one hour 1-2-1 training session that take place at your home address, your first session will include a consultation to discuss in depth the help you would like with your dog(s). This service is suitable for dogs of all ages, you really can teach an old dog new tricks.

During our training sessions we will provide you with as much information and practical learning as possible, helping you to overcome the issues you are having so you are able to become a confident handler and build a good relationship with your dog to create a well-balanced companion that you are able to enjoy.

Dog training is not a “one size fits all”, which is why we like to tailor our sessions to your individual dogs needs. Our aim is to help you achieve your goals with your dog(s) and to understand them better, so you as the owner can recognise your dog’s body language, understand breed fulfilment and to enhance your relationship, creating a strong bond, with leadership and mutual respect.

Our 1-2-1 classes cannot be compared to group classes, a 1-2-1 session is tailored to your own dogs needs and gives yourself an opportunity for all your questions to be acknowledged and answered in the comfort of your own home. It also gives you the ability to build strong foundations with your dog inside of your home, as this is often where most problems start. This session only requires you and your dog, we bring all the equipment you may need, although if your dog does have allergies or specific dietary requirements, we ask you have suitable treats for your dog ready for the training session.

If your dog has suddenly started showing aggressive tendencies, snapping, growing, uncomfortable etc we recommend your dog is checked over by a vet to ensure they are well and not in pain.
