Doggy Day Care Poole

My name is Nicky Hook the proprietor of Doggy Day Care. Established in 2008 in Slough, Berkshire.  Relocated to Poole, Dorset in December 2017.

After being made redundant in 2008, I decided the time was perfect to undertake a complete life change and live out a dream that I have wanted to pursue for as long as I can remember- to set up a business that cares for pets when their owners are unable to be there. I know that sometimes this can be a challenge in today’s hectic world and I want to be able to help people who face this challenge. I have many years experience with animals from family pets such as cats, dogs and rabbits and had my beautiful Neapolitan Mastiff called Tia featured on the website for 12 years before she sadly passed away, they are not just our pets they are part of our family and I still miss her every day.

My service is personalised and I have thought long and hard about what I would want from a pet care company, such as 1:1 care for my pet in the comfort of my own home when I am not there, following the same daily routine that I would perform and additional services that would allow pet owners to feel secure in the knowledge that their pet is receiving the high quality service.

Doggy day care

Doggy Day Care provides a Doggy Day Care service as an alternative to leaving your dog home alone for a short period of time or boarding in dog kennels, so if you have work commitments, a family day out, special occasion, or having work done on your home during the day, this allows your dog(s) to stay in my bungalow as part of the family following their usual feeding/sleeping/playtime routine in the care of a professional without having to rely on family/neighbours. This is a less stressful alternative for your pets rather than being in boarding kennels or left home alone.

I live in a detached bungalow in a quiet cul de sac, with no other pets or children, therefore, your dog(s) will be given my undivided attention.   I only provide Day Care for up to a maximum of 4-5 dogs at any one time, therefore you have the peace of mind that your dog(s) will have their own personal space and be given full love, care and attention & be treated as part of my family.  Cosy cuddles on the sofa, playtime in the garden & this service includes two fun walks.
