We’re Mark and Jeab, husband and wife, and owners of Dog Walks ‘R’ Us.

We’re a couple of mature individuals with bags of life experience and plenty of common sense, two things we’ve found invaluable over the years when working in this industry. Established in 2018, our business was born out of a shared passion for animals and a desire to spend the greater part of our days enjoying their company. The last 5 years have brought us many smiles but also, more importantly, a wealth of experience, which we now bring to the care of every dog, cat and small animal that we’re lucky enough to be entrusted with.

Our approach

Our goal is, purely and simply, to meet the exercise and mental stimulation needs of your dog and we look to achieve this through a combination of time spent walking and time spent playing games. We also vary the areas that we take the dogs in as much as possible, thereby introducing them to a wide range of sights, sounds and smells and allowing them to fulfil their natural instincts.

We recommend hour-long walks for most dogs because we believe this is the minimum time needed to ensure that when you arrive home, it’s to a happy, less hyper, and ultimately more manageable canine. However, we do also offer 30-minute walks, which can be great for small dogs, old dogs, or dogs that may also get walked by you or another family member on the same day. These are usually solo walks to ensure that your dog gets the maximum attention in the allotted time.

We want your dog to be as safe and comfortable while travelling with us as he/she is out on walks, so we’ve put a lot into ensuring our vehicle meets all expectations. We have 7 cage spaces with sizes varied enough to accommodate the vast majority of breeds and each is lined with soft, waterproof cushioning.

Our cage system has an escape route built in, so in the event of an accident that prevents the back door opening, all dogs can exit via the side doors. The interior is air conditioned and we have an electric fan that works while the vehicle is stationary and the engine turned off.

Additionally, our van is windowed on all sides, so the cage area is bright and airy (our window graphics allow light in) and with no bulkhead, we’re able to see and hear the dogs behind us at all times.

Puppy care when you can’t be there

What a puppy experiences during his/her first 16 weeks of life plays a huge role in determining future behaviour and temperament. It’s vital, therefore, during this period that he/she is given dedicated time for both play and socialisation and that a structured approach is adopted to ensure that the puppy’s limited concentration span is not exceeded.

Your work commitments may make it impossible for you to give your puppy the level of attention he/she needs to become a fully rounded adult dog. We understand this and so, we offer a pop-in visiting service in which we can, first and foremost, address the need for socialisation through handling and play. Additionally, we can provide food, water, changing of puppy pads, and assistance with toilet training. We stay for a minimum of 30 minutes, during which we dedicate at least half of the time to helping your pup learn the skills necessary to become a cherished and well behaved family member.

Pet Visits for Cats & Small Animals

If you’re going away for the day or overnight, our pop-in pet care service is perfect for cats or small animals allowing them to stay in the comfort of home and ensuring the provision of food, water, toileting, mental stimulation and a healthy dose of love and affection.

Prices

We operate a basic pricing structure with a per visit cost but since you may have specific requests that require us to stay longer, we advise you to get in contact for a more accurate quote.

Bank holidays are +50% of the aforementioned.
