ABOUT

My Name is Sam, I own and run Dog Smart.

I have been a dog trainer for the past 9 years and have experience training a large variety of dogs from puppies to adults and Chiwawas to Great Danes.

My love of dog training was sparked 2010, when I purchased my first puppy Rolo, as I took him through classes I soon realized that 1 dog was just not enough for me, so I soon added to our family with Rocky my second working Cocker. They both helped me to grow as a trainer and nurtured my fascination for dog training. After the birth of my first 2 children I wanted a dog to grow up with the children so added our 3rd, somewhat calmer dog Nala, our Golden Retriever.

I believe that training your dog should be fun and rewarding for both you and your dog and should be tailored to your individual lifestyle and circumstances.

In training. I believe there is no right or wrong answer, just what works for you and your dog. I see my job therefore to help you to find the training solutions that will help your dog to fit in with your lifestyle.

I strongly believe in using the latest scientifically proven training techniques and as such I strive to attend as many seminars and workshops as I can. I have trained with some of the worlds most renowned trainers including John Rogerson, Chirag Patel, Kay Lawrence, Emily Larlham (kiko pup) Nando Brown, and Grisha Stewart.

About the lesson:

These lessons provide the opportunity to tailor a training program to suite your dog and your lifestyle. We can work on any problem that you would like help training including aggression, dog to dog manners, lead walking, recall, socialisation and jumping up.

Location:

The lessons take place in your home or garden, or in your local park.

A complete dry pedicure including cuticle work, filing and shaping the natural nails, moisturising the foot and lower leg, hard skin removal and finishing with a long lasting gel polish finish.
