About Us

Established in 2018, Dog Scouts is a small, friendly, dog walking service run by me, Ian, with the help of my wife Elena and my trusty lakeland terrier, Chico.

Based in Kirkintilloch, I offer group and individual walks around Lenzie, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch and Torrance as well as puppy visits.

I have previously worked as an outdoor and watersports instructor, responsible for a team of instructors and groups of up to 120 kids.

I’m an ex scout leader so I know the importance of making sure that everyone in the group has a great time and is safe and well under my supervision. My experience means that I’m always well organised and in control of the group.

I’ve always loved long walks with my dogs and I quickly build up strong relationships with any dogs under my care. I believe in reward based training and never get annoyed with a dog. 

If a mishap should occur, I’m trained in dog first aid and I always have the first aid kit to hand. 

I’ll keep you up to date with your dog’s activities by posting regular photos and videos and even a dogs-eye GoPro video. 

My aim is to make sure that your dog has a fun, safe time and comes home fully excercised and ready to relax. I also make sure that your dog is mud free and towel dried before getting back into your house.

Dog Walking

• I walk socialised and friendly dogs in small groups or I can walk dogs individually. 
• Walks are 1 hour long, on and off the lead.
• Dogs are walked in livestock-free woods, heathland and parkland.
• After the walk, dogs are returned home mud free and towel dried. 
• £11 (£16.50 for two dogs)
• £16.50 individual walk.

Puppy Visits

• Each visit lasts around 20 minutes
• I’ll spend time with the puppy, play and clean up any mishaps.
• I can help with your puppy training.
• When they’re ready I can introduce them to other dogs who they’ll eventually get walked with.  
• £11.50 for 2 visits.
