Dog Friendly Wales

Wales’ Most Dog Friendly Hotel

“A unique gothic dog friendly Welsh Castle, conveniently set within a glorious 40 acre Country Park, with idyllic shaded Woodland paths, Lakes and off-the-lead Dog Walks – right on your doorstep”

Welcome to Dog Friendly Wales at Craig y Nos Castle

We are Open all July & August!!

…after 2-3 years of

  • not opening due to COVID and
  • intermittent opening due to aftermath of Covid and
  • low off-season B&B demand (other than lots of weddings!)
Dinner will be offered on all nights where we have more than 16 guests booked in for B&B, of whom at least 10 wish to eat. Once at 16 Booked B&B guests, we will email you offering you the option to book Dinner on the relevant nights.

Plenty of gardens and informal long grassy areas where I can run freely – that’s nice. 11 Acres of land at my Castle in Wales and 40 acres of dog friendly Country Park I can explore.

The water looks cool and clear. Unlike Jack on the left, I promise I won’t get muddy.

I’ll stick to the gravelled paths, but if I do stray into the fields and have a good roll, I promise I’ll have a wash after in the river’s sparkling mountain water.

By evening I’ll keep my owner company in the dog friendly Patti Bar, where dogs are allowed to sit with their owners.

I see dogs come free, so there is no extra charge for me to come with my owner.

Let’s keep my master and mistress company, and save on kennel fees!  After all, I know they’d be lonely and miss me if I didn’t come with them!

That’s Jack, the Castle’s Golden Retriever and the white Alsatian is Sheeba.

A Truly Dog Friendly Hotel

A truly dog friendly hotel offering dog friendly bed and breakfast, wonderful dog walks on our doorstep, two or three day mid-week dog friendly holidays, dog friendly accommodation.

Dog Friendly B&B

I’d better have a look through the Castle’s dog friendly accommodation now. Let’s see if I can find a large enough room for me to lie down comfortably in, for the night.

Parkland to roam free, off the lead

I’ve heard on the dog-line there be rabbits here – and moles too (ssshhhhh).  It’s a castle, so there’s plenty of space for me and my owner to stretch our legs.

For walks on our doorstep, have a good look at the castle grounds and country park.

There are extensive woodlands at the bottom of our garden, and even a doggie swimming pool.

The castle has plenty of comfort break areas with poo bins too.
