At Dog Diplomacy we bring over 14 years of dog training experience to each dog we deal with. We believe our dogs are family members and we want to teach you how to build a bond and relationship with your dog.

Offering 3 separate play spaces for dogs, dog day care is the ideal place for dogs to learn, play and socialise whilst you are at work. Dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds can learn to play and socialise in a safe, hygienic and fun environment. Whether it’s a puppy that needs to take its first step, or you have a mature dog needing help re-establishing friendships.

We are a wholly indoors Dog Day Care – So we have brought the outside in. We have created a healthy and stimulating environment for all our furry friends as well as our staff.

Dog Day Care

Dog Diplomacy are invested in the importance of a safe and healthy environment for your dog, and as such we have carefully selected premises with lots of windows to allow natural light into the building.

We have multiple training and play areas at Dog Day Care. This allows us to maintain the dogs in smaller groups of matched dogs instead of just letting them all run loose as one large group. There are plenty of opportunities for dogs to rest and relax in a time out room or run and play with their friends. Your dog will prefer to spend time at Dog Day Care rather than at home alone.

Dogs will be socialised, and those who are less sure about other dogs can be worked with to improve those issues by seeing other dogs training from a different room before joining in with a larger group.

This approach has helped numerous dogs become happier individuals in very short spaces of time.

Puppies can learn how to play with dogs of all ages which enables them to learn manners, rather than spending their time simply playing with other puppies.

All dogs will be taught specific obedience behaviours week by week.

Attending Dog Day Care prevents your dog suffering from separation anxiety whilst you are out at work, and benefits both yourself and your dog by putting into place the obedience training that will make your relationship stress and trouble free!

Dogs will enjoy various activities throughout the day, suitable to their age, size and energy level.

Puppies will be accepted from 12 weeks old. All dogs must be fully vaccinated to include a kennel cough vaccine for the protection of themselves and others.

Dogs will be temperament tested by us prior to admission.

We are a completely family run business offering Dog Day Care services to our clients throughout Bolton, Chorley and the surrounding areas.

The business is headed by Neil, who has over 14 years’ experience TRAINING pet dogs for clients. During this time we have seen over 1000 dogs of all shapes and sizes and dealt with a wide range of issues successfully.

We are proud of our extensive practical experience and feel that no amount of distance learning could replace the knowledge we have accrued. We know our clients would agree. At the same time, we are extremely well read on subjects such as dog psychology and learning, and this shines through in our practical handling and the advice we provide to our clients.

We feel strongly that a large part of our business must focus on the way people learn, as well as dogs. It is important that we concentrate our efforts on facilitating the learning of our clients, to enable them to do the same for their dog.

If you wish to see us working, please feel free to pop into our Dog Day Care and Training Centre, Tuesday to Friday, between 9.30am and 12.00pm or between 1.30pm and 4.00pm – no appointment is necessary.
