WELCOME

Cosy Kennels Boarding for Cats and Dogs  

Catherine and Paul have been boarding dogs and cats at Cosy Kennels and Cattery since October 2003. They are ably assisted by their animal-loving kennel maids Mandy and Janice. 
 
We are small enough to get to know all our boarding guests and their likes and dislikes. Most of our guests return year after year so it feels as though we have a very large extended family of dogs and cats who we are really pleased to welcome back. 
 
Every dog and cat has their own individual needs and we do all we can to make their stay with us as enjoyable and relaxed as possible. 

Boarding Kennel Facilities  

We have 47 large kennels arranged in three blocks. All kennels are suitable for single or multiple occupancy. We also have a family unit suitable for three or more dogs. Each kennel has an individual outside, covered run and an infra-red heat lamp used during the colder months. 

Exercise and your Dog  

The three kennel blocks each have a completely enclosed large exercise area which is accessed from the individual runs. The dogs are exercised off-lead at least 4 times a day (more in quiet times). 

Boarding Cattery Facilities  

The cattery block is set well away from the kennels and overlooks the pond to one side and open fields on the other. There are twenty-four units, each large enough to house several cats. 
 
Each unit consists of an inside purpose-built heated room connected to an individual outside run by a window which is open during the day when the weather is good. 
 
All cats are given “TLC times”, when they are given lots of fuss and attention on numerous occasions throughout the day.
