About us

Ruth has been working with dogs for more than 20 years. She started off working in a boarding kennels in Wales, here she found her passion working with animals. She got to understand many breeds of dogs and their temperaments. At the kennels Ruth helped out with the groomer there, this giving her the insight to the grooming world and the love of dog grooming.

She then went on to do a dog grooming diploma, dog grooming practical & theory, salon management, canine health, safety & first aid.

Ruth groomed dogs in Wales before moving to Birmingham and has worked within a very busy grooming parlour for a number of years.

Ruth is a great lover of all animals and has had many growing up, from Rabbits, fish, dogs, cats, hamster, gerbil, rescue ducks, stick insects, ferrets to name a few. She now has a toy poodle named Troy and a french bulldog named Ruby,

She also boarded unwanted pets from rescue centres across the midlands until they can be accommodated.

I work in a way that your dogs get my full attention at all times that they are with me. They are treated as if they were my own, giving them a lot of love. I take on board their personalities, whether it being strong minded to the shyest of dogs. I have a lot of patience so nothing is rushed with your dogs groom always ensuring the comfort and well being of your dogs comes first. This is my main priority whilst they are here in my care.

At Clipperz they are home away from home they are able to free roam and have use of toys.
With permission they are given healthy treats too.
