Welcome to Claws & Chores, a local business born from a desire to combine mum life with my love for furry friends. My name’s Alice and I’ve lived in Helston and the surrounding area my whole life and have enjoyed the company of many a fluffy pal in my 29 years, including 6 cats, 7 guinea pigs and 2 gerbils.
Caring for small animals comes naturally… being trusted to look after family and friends pets for years, and I’ve spent 6 months volunteering at the local Cats Protection branch in Truro.
Previously working as a Senior Account Manager in a marketing agency, I love meeting new people and truly pride myself on being organised and trusted. Unfortunately, I was made redundant during my maternity leave as the company closed, however this only spurred me on to take the leap and start my own venture!
It’s a generation thing! Whilst I will be running the business day to day and caring for your furry family members, I’ll also be supported by my lovely dad, and of course my little baby girl!
