Classy Pooch Dog Grooming and Pet Sitting has been in business since June 2012.

We are a small, family run business who have always had a love for animals, but especially dogs!

We offer a total care package for your pet, all year round!

You can rely on us to give your pet the love and attention it deserves, as if it were our own!

I’ve always known I would work with animals, from a very young age I adored them! Having had numerous small fluffies as a young child, at 11 years old I was finally granted my wish and rehomed a rescue dog called Honey. I studied animal behaviourand welfare at Myerscough College in Preston, followed by a degree in animal behaviour and welfare. After graduating, I worked in an exotic pet shop which I enjoyed, but something was still missing – dogs!

I enrolled onto a 6 month dog grooming course at the age of 20 and, after passing the course, I volunteered in a busy salon in my spare time to gain experience. Since then I have successfully completed my City & Guilds Level 3 Dog Grooming Diploma and I am proud to say that I am a fully qualified dog groomer! At the age of 22 I finally opened my own groom room situated at my home – which is a huge dream come true for me! I attend seminars around the UK to develop new skills to help me become the best groomer I can be! I absolutely love every Pooch that walks through my door and I always want to do my best at making your Pooch look the best it can! I also attend dog grooming competitions (some of my clients loan me there beloved Pooches) were I have won awards for my work. I am looking forward to many more years in this fabulous industry!

You may also meet my husband Damian, who sometimes can be seen pottering about the property and my mum Karen and my grandad Derek, who often help out with the bigger or more nervous pooches who need an extra pair of hands to help calm them.
