Chessington Veterinary Surgery is an independent (non corporate) practice which provides a caring, professional service for your pets. It is headed by Michael Hamblin, a veterinary surgeon with over 40 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery. We ensure that our veterinary practice has the facilities and equipment necessary to provide the best possible care including separate areas for cats and dogs, to minimise stress.

All our veterinary nursing team are great animal lovers. To ensure the proper care of your pets, we employ professionally qualified veterinary nurses and our practice is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as a veterinary nurse training centre. Student nurses are carefully supervised by our qualified staff.

Helping you look after your pet

Being an independent practice gives us the flexibility to choose the most appropriate medication and treatment for your pet. We are not dictated to by a remote head office regulating what treatments can be used to maximise the profits of their shareholders, who may have little concern for animal welfare.
