Our dog grooming salon in Crewe caters for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from a simple regular brush out and trim to a full groom – we can groom to breed standard or customer specification. Use the tab above to navigate to the grooming page to find out more.

Our shop stocks a range of feeds, natural treats and collars, leads and accessories, all our feeds and treat boxes are available as a subscription service with no contract, cancel anytime, and save on average 5%.

At Cheshire School of Dogs we provide a fun and safe environment where dogs can form and interact as part of a pack. For young dogs this is essential education and the benefits of simply socialising with other dogs are invaluable.

Dogs are instinctual social animals, mixing with other sociable dogs provides positive mental stimulation as well as exercise through play, both important components for a well rounded family pet.

Doggie Day care also helps dogs with lots of energy by giving them an outlet to release all of the pent up energy they have inside them so that when they go home they are tired and relaxed. Our doggy day care facility provides a place where dogs can play safely and securely while under the constant supervision of the team.

Our day-care facility provides a mixture of indoor and outdoor areas. Internally we have 5500 square feet split into 3 play areas, giving us the ability to have dogs in different packs according to size, age and energy levels. Each indoor area has direct access to its own outdoor area.

Outdoor we have around 5000 square feet split into 3 different areas, 3 hard standing play grounds and a grassed paddock. Throughout all areas we have a mixture of agility equipment, mentally stimulating strategy toys as well as a range of tough toys, rope toys, balls, tyres, and soft toys. In the warmer months the paddock is equipped with dog pools.

Doggy Daycare is available Monday to Friday. A full day starts from 07:30 and finishes at 18:00.

Cheshire School of Dogs are licenced and 5* rated by Cheshire East Council.

A 20% discount is applied for 2 or more dogs from the same house.

To safeguard the wellbeing & balance of the pack all applicant dogs must meet the following requirements.

Requirements to join Doggy Daycare.

Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations (including Kennel cough).
Male dogs over 6 month old must be castrated.
Dogs must be sociable

An average grooming session will last between 1.5 – 2 hours.

Here is a general step by step guide of what the full grooming process involves.

We start the grooming session with coat examination and a consultation with the customer to discuss required style they want to achieve.
After this we conduct a health check, during the health check we examine eyes, ears, gums, teeth and skin.
After the health check we will start the bath, we have a wide range of shampoos to suit every coat and skin type, we will use the shampoo that is best suited for your dog. While in the bath we will express your dog’s anal glands if required.
When the bath is complete we will move on to the drying process, we start this simply by removing as much excess water from the coat with a towel, then we move on to the fully drying the coat with our variable speed blast dryers while brushing through the coat, For double coated dogs this will help to strip the undercoat/malt.
Now it’s time to move on to the hair cut, we will now clip or scissor trim your dog to achieve your preferred style.
After the hair cut is complete we will move on to cleaning/plucking of the ears and clipping and filing of the claws.
We complete the grooming session with a finishing spray (cologne/coat conditioner/shine spray) leaving the coat looking nice and healthy with a pleasant aroma.

Prices

Prices are a guide only and are determined by coat condition and required style. A fixed price can be given upon examination of the coat. Hand stripping is charged at Double.
