Suze grew up in Robertsbridge, East Sussex, surrounded by the beautiful countryside. Always at the heart of her family were Golden Retrievers & her Bernese Mountain Dog called Freddie. Suze moved to London 10 years ago but goes back to Sussex on a regular basis to visit family & friends. The offer is always open for Chelsea Hounds to take your doggy to Sussex for the weekend, to go on some lovely country walks and get away from the hustle & bustle of the city!

Chelsea Hounds key principle is to provide the best experience possible for your dog. We create variety on our walks, by using different parks and playing games with them. We try to make sure that each dog is in a group that suits its energy levels. We understand that all dogs have their own unique personalities and therefore their own needs, which we will aim to meet. As passionate animal lovers ourselves, we understand only too well how hard it is to leave your pet at home for long hours while you are at work. Our aim is to give you peace of mind when you can’t be with your pet through our first class care.

We will strive to cater for whatever needs you have so please contact us if you have any special requests as we know that each dog is different and each family has different schedules.

We offer a professional, fully insured dog walking and pet care service in and around the Kensington & Chelsea area. Our emphasis is on quality care, and we specialise in one-to-one walks as we believe this allows us to provide the individual attention your dog needs and deserves. We also offer group walks if you prefer, with a maximum of four dogs at any time.

Dog Walking

We walk dogs in a variety of local parks including, Hyde Park, Green Park, Battersea Park, St James Palace, Regents Park, Brompton Cemetery & many more. During each walk we play games and interact with each dog, giving them individual attention, care, hugs and affection. All new dogs are walked on a lead until we are sure that their recall is adequate and we have your consent. Training leads can also be used. We will discuss each stage and update you on your dog. We feel communication is vital and we will give you daily feedback when we start first walking your dog.

We have a Facebook page which is updated daily so you can see what your dog has been up to. Our clients love this.

We offer three walks a day, morning, lunch and afternoon walks.

We will also reinforce any commands that your dog knows and if allowed your doggy will get a treat at the end of the walk!

Dog Boarding

As your dog is walked by us, we find that the dog settles in really quickly. Your dog will share our house and garden. We don’t use kennels or crates. Your dog will share the sofa (if you allow this) and sniff around in our secure garden. If you wish we will take your doggie’s bed and toys to make it a home from home. However if you would prefer your dog to be looked after in your own home this is also fine.

Your dog will get three full walks a day and we will follow your feeding routine

We only have one dog at a time. This means that spaces get booked up very quickly at popular times like the school holidays. We recommend you booking in advance.

Doggy Day Care

At Chelsea Hounds we understand that you don’t want to leave your dog at home all day on their own. That is why we offer a doggy daycare service, whether you are at work or have a day full of running errands we are more than happy to look after your dog for the day whilst you are busy.

Our doggy daycare services include your dog getting walked, fed to the feeding regime that you have in place, as well as plenty of time to play or chill out in our own home. We don’t use crates or kennels, your dog will have the full run of our secure garden or the option to curl up on the sofa if you allow this.

We understand that your dog is part of your family and that they deserve the level of care and attention that they would get at home. We are very dedicated to what we do and love spending time with your dogs. You can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands and will return to you at the end of the day after a fun filled day.

Pop In Services

We offer a pop in service where we can visit your dog in the comforts of their own home whilst you are out to make sure they are ok, to provide them with toilet breaks, to feed them and to give them some general TLC.

We can pop in to your home for either 15 minutes or half an hour during the day as many times as you think necessary, to make sure that your dog gets a chance to go to the toilet, or to make sure that their feeding regime is kept up with, or just to make sure that your dog is behaving and to keep them company for a bit. Whatever your working arrangements are, we are more than happy to work around them to ensure that your dog is happy and healthy.
