DOG BOARDING

Being a family run business, there is always someone at home whilst your dog is staying with us meaning that they are never left at any time.

During the day, your pooch will be taken out on two to three walks to our local country park or field where we do both solo and group walks, making sure that each pup has their time to shine! When back at home, they have lots of fun playing in our large garden, completely secure and equipped with CCTV. We have a vast variety of toys and games for them to play with and for the more indoor pooch, our warm doggy room provides a relaxing, comfortable space for them to chill out in and watch the other dogs play. For the more reserved and older canine, they can take an afternoon nap on our laps, cuddled up on the couch. We aim to provide and cater for each personality, age and breed as no doggy is the same!

During the evening, they settle down with us in the living room for a night of television and lots of cuddles before retiring to their beds in our large, warm kitchen for the night where we separate each pooch so that they have their own space.

During your dogs stay, we regularly send you ‘pupdates’ of your dogs stay with us to give you that extra peace of mind so you can see them happy and relaxed with us.

MEET JAYNE

Hello there, I’m Jayne, the owner of Canine Comforts and I’d like to introduce you to us and everything that we are about!

Canine Comforts Wigan is a family run business based in Wigan with 20+ years of experience in caring for dogs. This is my full time job which allows me to be completely dedicated to each dog that is in our families care. 

We have a level 5 in Canine First Aid and CPR, a level 5 in Canine Behaviour & Psychology, are fully insured and we are council approved with a full license in boarding dogs (License number AAL0004, Wigan Council) for up to 6 dogs at one time.

We adore every paw that steps foot into our home and our aim is to make sure that you can enjoy your holiday or time away without feeling guilty or worried about leaving your dog in kennels. Your pooch will be staying in our warm, cozy home in their own beds where they are treated just like our own. We will provide you with extra ease by sending you ‘pupdates’ of your dogs adventure with us, making you relaxed seeing your pooch safe and happy.
