Waggs & Walkies

Waggs & Walkies is based in Walderslade, Kent and is focused on providing high-quality services and excellent customer satisfaction – We will do everything we can to meet you and your pets very high expectations.

We are professional dog walkers and although we’re insured to walk multiple dogs, we only walk a maximum of 4 at one time, to ensure that they all have enough of our attention so their walks are enriched and that we can pick up after them.

Group walks are matched to suit dog personalities.
Walks are varied and some of the places we like to walk are Bluebell Hill, Jeskyns, Ashenbank, Lords Wood, Riverview Country Park, Borstal Rec, Capstone Country Park, Walderslade Woods and Wainscott Farm, to name a few.

More about us

Waggs & Walkies is owned and run by myself, Dani and my husband, Simon. We have always been around dogs, brought up with them, so coming up for 40 years of dog experience.

Simon also has owned dogs for the past 30 years so we have a lifetime of dog experience between us. Dani has studied pet first aid, dog behaviour and some reward based training. We both have real empathy with dogs and nothing makes us happier than to see dogs out enjoying themselves.

We look after all animals in our care as if they were a part of the family. We have owned/had dogs for nearly 70 years and specialise in sighthounds. We currently have a Whippet, a Saluki X and a Whippet X but have previously owned a Borzoi, an Afghan Hound, Lurchers, Whippets and Salukis, plus Cats, Ducks, Geese and numerous small furries.

About the business

We set up our family-run business in 2015 after working for a horse feed manufacturer.
We felt we had to follow our hearts and dreams and work with animals, especially dogs so along came Waggs & Walkies.
Simon came on board a couple of years later, due to demand, allowing us to expand but still providing an outstanding and personal service.

We are fully insured for all aspects of pet care including off lead walkies (with written consent), pet transportation, pet sitting in your own home and have loss of key cover. We have our own dedicated pet vehicle and always offer a free meet and greet service which is not time limited. We have trained in dog behaviour, pet first aid and basic dog training. All CRB checks have been done and copies of this and insurance documents are available on request.
