Located only a stone’s throw from Airdrie town centre, Brownsburn community park is a huge park forged from what used to be disregarded ad derelict land wedged between several areas of the town. In 1991 this area was taken over by a local group known as theĀ Friends of Brownsburn Community ParkĀ and to give the local community a sense of countryside and a place for exercise and relaxation. Throughout the year this group holds volunteer days alongside the Countryside Ranger Service where locals can help maintain the park with activities such as tree and bulb planting.
Today, this huge park is fenced in on all sides and is the perfect place for dogs to get a really good run around in the grass and trees. Many people bring their dogs here to get some exercise due to its size and friendly atmosphere. There isn’t a day that goes by when people from the surrounding areas and all over aren’t out in the park.
What’s great is that this park is fenced in on all sides with entry gates that can be closed behind you, so that even dogs that are off running about can’t escape out in the streets and neighbourhoods.
About Us
Hi there, we are Bonnie’s Wag’n’Tails.
Ā
We are a brother and sister dog walking team based in North Lanarkshire.
Ā
We started Bonnie’s Wag’n’Tails a year ago as we are both animal lovers and we’ve always had pets.
Ā
Paul and Lisa, our two resident dog walkers, are a little camera shy but our gang of furry clients sure aren’t, so make sure you stick around to meet them.
Ā
Bonnie’s Wag’N’Tails are based out of Chapelhall in Airdrie but can look after your furry friends in different parts of the North Lanarkshire area, including Chapelhall, Airdrie and Coatbridge among others.
Ā
We offer 1-hour group dog walks and 20-minute at-home pet visits, but are happy to accommodate your pups needs if necessary, just let us know!
Ā
We will also keep you updated with plenty of adorable photos and videos on ourĀ FacebookĀ andĀ InstagramĀ pages, so you can always keep have plenty of cute photos of your pups enjoying themselves!
Ā
Paul and Lisa are also both registered holders of their Canine First-Aid Certificates, so you can rest assured your beloved pooch is in capable hands. Our certificates last for 3 years and we still have 2 years left on them. We keep out dog first-aid kit in our van, and when we first meet up with you we will even bring our certificates with us for you to see!
