Beth’s Pooches & Paws is proud to offer a friendly, reliable and personalised dog walker service in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. Your family pet is treated as one of our own where they receive loads of love, attention and great exercise while out on their walks.

The Story About Our Dog Walker Services Begins

Beth always knew even from an early age that she always either wanted to work with animals or children when she was grown up. If you met Beth as a child or adolescent you would have seen instantly what a caring person she was, always wanting to be looking after the cats she grew up with or her younger cousins in her family.

After lots of thought and consideration it was decided when she left secondary school that she was going to go to college to work with children, to train to be a nursery nurse.

Beth absolutely loved working in childcare and gained so many skills from doing this rewarding job. She worked in various childcare settings for over 6 years.

However, she always knew that one day she wanted to experience working with and caring for animals, this was a thought that never left her mind. Beth also brought a dog of her own with her partner, bringing him up from a puppy was the most rewarding thing and made her so happy. At the age of 23 Beth therefore finally decided to take this new path.

She did a couple of online courses to gain the knowledge she needed to stand out, and secured herself her first veterinary job at a veterinary practice in Sevenoaks. Beth was so grateful for this opportunity and felt ready to start her new journey. She started up as a veterinary care assistant and spent some time working in the cattery at the practice also. This is a workplace Beth will always remember, as they were the first place that ever gave her a chance to join the animal care industry, confirming for her that this was what she was meant to be doing.

Unfortunately, she ended up having to take a break from work when the pandemic sadly hit in March 2020. Along with many of her other colleagues, she was placed on furlough and was spending time at home for the first time in what felt like a long time. Beth didn’t let this stop her though and used this time as a chance to explore other areas of animal care and where she may like to go. It was in the midst of her time at home that she realised she wanted to make her dream of running her own pet care business a reality.

Here at Beth’s Pooches and Paws we understand that each dog deserves to be walked by someone that understands their needs and will strive to make their walk the highlight of their day.

All dogs need more than just physical exercise, they also have emotional, mental and behavioural needs that should be taken into consideration. We therefore offer a professional and fun dog walking service, whilst giving them the love and care they need.

Solo or Group Dog Walking In Tunbridge Wells

Each dog walk will be for up to an hour, we will communicate with you beforehand to find out how long you’d like your dog to be walked for. You can choose from either a solo dog walking session, for a dog who prefers to be in his own company along with one of our friendly dog walkers.

Or join us on one of our group dog walking sessions, for dogs who like to walk as part of a pack. This will only ever be in a group of a maximum of 4 dogs, this is to ensure each dog’s safety is the main priority and can be managed in the correct manor.

Convenient Dog Walking In Tunbridge Wells

Our dog walking service is offered in Tunbridge Wells, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Southborough and High Brooms. This will be in the local parks, woodlands and commons, ensuring your dog is having the best time whilst being enriched and exercised, and also being kept in a safe and secure environment.

With our pick up and drop off service, a time will be arranged that suits you for your dog to be collected, walked and dropped off back home to you… all clean, dry and very happy!

You will receive regular updates after each walk from your dog walker, this will include a message with any pictures and videos of the walk, showing you what we got up to and where we went on that day! If you are going to be home when we drop them off- we will give you a verbal update, and can send you any pictures and videos when we’ve left!

Before your dog can start coming out on adventures with us, we will need to arrange a free consultation to meet with you and your dog. We can either do this in your home or garden, or even go out on a walk together with your dog. This will be a great opportunity for us to meet with you and ensure you feel like we’re a good fit for you and your dog. We can obtain all the relevant information on them and you, whilst answering any questions you may have.

Our beloved pets are our family members too, so when you go away we understand the importance of knowing they are going to be comfortable, safe and well loved. For many animals this is in the comfort of their own home.
