Best Puppy School is based in Sherfield on Loddon and run by Elin Best.

We take pride in being friendly and approachable. We appreciate that dog training can be confusing and training classes can be scary so we will always make you feel welcome and that no question is silly and no behaviour problem is your fault. We understand that living with a behaviour issue can be draining and take the fun out of living with your beloved pet so we will never make you feel as if it is your fault. We are here to help!

Having spent eight years working for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People as a Puppy Training Instructor, Elin set up Best Puppy School in 2014 to give her more flexibility with her family and also to offer support and advice to our local pet dog owners. Elin is a professionally trained Puppy School tutor as well as holding a Dog Trainers Certificate from the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training. She is proud to be Kennel Club Accredited Instructor.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have worked for many years with horses but dogs have always been my passion. Having attained a BSc Hons in Psychology and Sociology at the University of the West of England.
I went on to train further with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training. I currently work as a Puppy Socialising Trainer for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, and in my work I see at first hand the importance of early puppy socialisation and training in creating life changing partnerships.
I would love to show you how positive, reward based training can help you achieve a happy, sociable puppy too. Puppy School classes are designed to be fun and relaxed for you and for the puppies.
They will help you to teach your puppy the life skills it needs to grow into a well socialised and good mannered pet through positive, reward based training methods.
