club offering training for dogs and puppies of all breeds, from beginners to advanced.
Best Paw Forward Dog Training Club was established to provide kind, reward based dog training for all breeds and all ages.
With over 75 years of dog training expertise between us (are we really that old!) we know we have a lot to offer. We are passionate about all aspects of dog ownership and training and our combined experience expands over many fields.
Our main obedience trainer, Lyn Bowers is a qualified trainer and Behavioural Consultant with many years experience. Her background includes competitive obedience, agility, flyball and scent detection. Lyn is currently working towards KCAI and is a member of the UK Register of Dog Trainers & Behaviourists.
As well as assisting with training when necessary, Lyn Church looks after the day to day administration of the club. Lyn’s experience reaches far and wide and includes breeding show dogs, breed showing, judging, grooming and veterinary nursing. In addition, Lyn also runs our sister club, Barnhill Show Training Club.
We are also part of the Scentwork UK network of Recognised Trainers.
Scentwork UK promotes and develops detection style nosework for dogs as a dog sport and training activity throughout the country by providing trials and a network of trainers. Full details of Scentwork UK are available via the link below.
