My grooming salon is a large log cabin, located in my garden. It is very well stocked with the latest grooming equipment, to ensure your dog finds the grooming experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

I only take one dog at a time, so it is less stressful and noise free for your dog.

Note that due to a very busy schedule, missed appointments may be charged an additional fee.

I trained and qualified at Pampered Pets in Greenock, in April 2011, and have been grooming since then. I have over 100 satisfied doggy clients and owners. My new clients are mostly recommendations now.

I keep myself up to date with the latest techniques and breed standard styles. I watch Style Academy Master Class DVDS, am registered with Groomer To Groomers Magazine on-line.

My prices are very competitive with other salons and i can offer a variety of services, from a bath and brush out, Nail Clipping, Face Trimming, to a full groom, which includes:

DOG BOARDING IN BISHOPTON

We’ve have been boarding dogs from our home in Bishopton since 2009. I am experienced in handling all types of dogs. We can accommodate three dogs at a time, which gives us plenty of time for each dogs needs. We are licenced with Renfrewshire Council for boarding and are inspected regularly. Due to this places are sometimes difficult to secure, especially at busy times of the year. So early bookings are essential!

We have a large house and two large safe and secure garden areas for the dogs to be comfortable and exercise. We also guarantee your dogs are walked two times a day. We welcome dogs of all ages and can cope with a variety of health problems. All medication needs to be supplied and clear instructions given at time of booking. You supply your pets food, as there is so much variety in individual dogs feeding habits.

We can offer day care, short stays of long holidays for your pet, at very competitive rates. Whether it be a day out for yourself with your friends, a weekend family wedding or a long stay holiday to Australia, we can meet your needs.

We recommend arranging a visit with your dog and yourself before their stay to familiarise themselves with their surroundings and myself.

Unfortunately due to family environment we cannot accommodate aggressive dogs. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and have an up to date profile with us.

ABOUT

I have been looking after dogs in my own house since I lost my dog Ailsa, cross collie, aged 17. She was very dear to me and my family.

I also had to look for accommodation for her when we went on holiday, so I know how worrying this can be, and how relaxed you are when you find somewhere your dog is content with and is happy to go back to. This is the reason I started this part of the business and why I have not regretted looking after one dog I have had in the house.

Your dog will initially miss you, but once they realise me and my family are there to take them out for walks, feed them their favourite food, play in the garden all day if they want and give them lots of cuddles at night. They soon relax and enjoy their stay and look forward to your return.

I was a host family for a company called Barking Mad for the first couple of years, but then decided to take on the responsibility myself. I am insured and a member of Pet Federation, which supports pets and their care under the Animal Welfare Act.

I am very relaxed around all dogs no matter what breed or size, and the dogs seem to sense this and are equally relaxed around me.

I have looked after all breeds of dogs and was very interested in all the coat types and how they should look for breed standards. This is when I decided to take a comprehensive, practical course for dog grooming at Pampered Pets in Greenock. This covered all the breeds, and how to care for them before, during and after their groom, to facilitate the most pleasant experience for your dog and to make them look fabulous!!!

I have a cabin in my garden which I groom from, so even the dogs that are boarding can come and witness the pampering experience. I only groom one dog at a time, so the experience is more relaxing, and the dog gets my full attention to detail.

I have now been grooming for since April 2011 and have more than 100 happy clients. I no longer advertise as most of my new dogs are recommendations from satisfied clients.
