Patricia began her  journey into dog behaviour work after experiencing aggression issues with her own dog. There is nothing like hands on experience and she learned so much during that time. After successfully rehabilitating her own dog, she decided to gain qualifications and launch Be More Dog. She has not looked back since. She has worked with thousands of dogs, all types of breed and she has a strong connection to the Doberman.

She covers Essex, Herts, East London and Greater London. Patricia also offers video and telephone consultations for owners further away.

Patricia felt the need for a reliable pet sitting service and set up Be More Dog Pet Sitting in 2022.

Canine Behaviour Consultations

This service is for the assessment and rehabilitation of behavioural problems in dogs of all ages. It is designed to improve all areas of the dog’s life and is very useful to solve many issues which are often symptoms of the bigger picture. You will have a deeper understanding of how your dog thinks and how you can communicate more effectively. The consultation will provide you with essential knowledge of how to deal with dogs in the real world and your dog will love you for it!

An initial assessment will be taken over the telephone and a questionnaire completed, before arranging the full consultation carried out at your home or where the problem behaviour occurs. The consultation will last between 2-3 hours. I will take a full history of the dog and gather information on everything from health to diet and lifestyle. I will ask to see the dog being handled as normal so that I can get an honest view of the problems presented then I will explain my assessment for the reasons behind behaviour and move on to working with the dog to solve these issues. Everything will be explained fully so that you understand the process and I will follow this up with your own personal written programme of rehabilitation covering everything that was discussed in the meeting. If any equipment is used this will be explained to you. Results will be dependent on you following the advice given.  After the consultation you will be able to contact me at any time to go over any questions you have, my continued advice is included in the price. Should an additional follow up sessions be required this will be discussed.

Dog Training

You may have a specific issue with your dog that you would like to work on and these sessions are designed just for that. They can be at your home or in a park or public place, wherever is most suitable for the areas you need help with. You may need more than 1 session to deal with certain problems depending on the personality of your dog. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

Cost: Dog training – £65 per hour, travel charges will apply if outside the CM5 area. ULEZ charge of £12.50 will  be recoverable for home visits inside the North Circular A406.

Pet Sitting

Be More Dog Pet Sitting was launched in 2022. Patricia has a team of 3 lovely ladies who are DBS checked, first aid trained, safety trained and insured. We offer pop in visits, short stays and overnight stays for all your pets.
