Applemore Kennels and Cattery

Our kennels can cater for any breeds of dog, each kennel comprises of an indoor kennel, which is individually heated with access to their own outdoor covered run. Covered runs allow boarders to stay dry in wet weather and cool in the summer. We provide each dog with a plastic bed lined with a cosy vet fleece and blanket, and also a bowl of drinking water 24 hours a day. However you are more than welcome to bring your dogs bed and favourite toys if you wish. If your dog stays with us for 5 days or longer they will receive a complementary bath.

All dogs that board with us are exercised twice a day in one of our large play compounds which allows each pet plenty of room to run around and play. We also lead walk them on our fields and all pets are exercised separately, unless they are boarding together from the same family.

It is very important to us that your dogs keep to their usual diet while staying with us. We stock most brands of food and will feed them routinely according to how you feed them at home. If you prefer to bring their own food you are more than welcome to do so, please discuss this prior to your dogs stay.

If your pet is on medication we can administer this following your instructions. We also cater for diabetic pets that require insulin injections and epileptic pets. There is no extra charge for this service.

Our day board service allows dogs to be dropped off in the morning and collected before closing. While spending the day with us they can enjoy the same facilities. This a great opportunity not only for people at work all day but also visitors holidaying in the New Forest with their pets that require a care facility for their dog for just the day.

Your dog/s will be required to be fully vaccinated during their stay. This is to protect all pets staying with us. Vaccination certificate will need to be shown on arrival.
