A Special room for a special kitty

At Appledown Boarding Kennels, all of our pens are fitted with central heating and a covered exercise area.

Cats of all ages are welcome at our cattery, provided that have been fully vaccinated. We ensure that all cats receive their normal diet during their stay with us. Should they require any medication, we are able to do so depending on each individual requirement.

To make your cats stay with us as comfortable as possible, we ensure you to bring their own bedding and toys.

Going away and want your dog to stay in a caring place?

Whether you’re going away for the weekend or a month, we welcome dogs of all ages to come and stay at Appledown Boarding Kennels.

In 2001 – 2002 we renovated our kennels. Each of our 30 boarding kennels can house up to 2 large dogs or 3 medium sized dogs.

During their stay with us, all dogs will receive their normal diet. All dogs are exercised on our own land daily and, should they stay with us more than 5 days, each dog will receive a bath before coming home.

Are you a working parent?

Why not let your dogs come to our doggy day care whilst you go to work? All dogs will be walked daily and receive lots of love and attention.

For more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Dog rescue and re-homing

At Appledown Kennels, as well as providing boarding kennels, we are also involved in rescuing and re-homing dogs.

A large proportion of dogs are unclaimed strays so we do not necessarily have history of behaviour and temperament but we do spend a lot of time assessing each dog.

Get in touch with us today if you would like to know more about our dog rescue services. We occasionally have puppies for re-homing. Families with children below 7 years of age can only adopt a puppy. House checks are required for all applicants before placement.

Rescue opening times between 10am and 4pm.
