Animals at Home Southampton

We are Emma & Andy and we own the Southampton branch of Animals at Home. We share our home in Hamble Le Rice with 3 dogs; Ruby the German Shepherd, Molly the Labrador and our 13 year old Shih Tzu Max as well as our tabby cat Lola who is definitely in charge of the pack! We are a family of animal lovers so it is a huge privilege to be able to run the Southampton branch and share some of that passion with our customers (furry and human!)

Our pets are part of our family, so we know first hand how important it is to find a good quality, reliable pet care service that you can trust to look after your furry family.

Our team of pet carers are on hand to ensure that your pets are looked after as if they were our own. We offer a 24/7 service and our team are fully insured, pet first aid qualified and DBS checked so you know you and your furry friends are in safe hands.

We provide a personalised service – no two pets are the same so the service we provide shouldn’t be. Our team pride themselves on getting to know you, your pet, their routine and their likes and dislikes.

Our services include:

Dog walking: we can be there when you can’t whether it’s a daily walk or just occasional, we can help. We have lots of experience with large strong walkers (pullers!) and can offer individual walks or small pack walks.

Cat Care visits: feeding and entertaining your cats when you can’t be there

House sitting: We can arrange for one of our house sitters to come and stay in your home so your pets can stay in their familiar environment. Nicky & Chris provide our house sitting service and have looked after homes and pets all over the world, so you are in safe hands.

Puppy care/play visits: Our youngest dog Ruby is only 7 months old so we understand how important it is for puppies to have a good routine and lots of interaction when you need to go back to work.

Pet Transport: We offer short and long distance pet transport in our DEFRA certified pet ambulance.

Vet visits: we understand how important it is for you to get your pet to the vet for routine and emergency appointments so we will take the stress away for you. You can accompany your pet in our ambulance or we can handle the whole appointment for you. Our vet transport service is 24/7 so we are there to support you in case of an emergency.

Dog Boarding: When it’s time for you to go on holiday, your dogs can have a holiday with one of our host families! We will take the time to meet you and your dog and match you with one of our experienced families.

Pet Cremation: When it is time to say goodbye, we will be there to support you. We offer an individual, personalised cremation service for our customers during this difficult time.
