Welcome to Animal Inn

Here at Animal Inn Boarding Kennels and Cattery we have been providing excellent care for all kinds of pets since 1988. Our boarding kennels offer comfort for both long or short periods of time.

As a family run business we’re located on the outskirts of the quiet village of Broomhill, wombwell. We offer a wide range of services including:

  • Dog Boarding
  • Cat Boarding
  • Small Animal Boarding (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs etc)
  • Onsite Shop

We offer a collection and delivery service should you need it within the local area. Many of our staff are volunteers, people who love animals and help us to look after them because they want to not because we pay them to, this ensures your pet get’s a “Little Extra” when it comes to cuddles…

We understand that your pet is someone special, and that you want to give them the best possible experience while your unable to look after them… they deserve it after all….

Dog Boarding

Our kennels..

Our boarding pens are all bright, comfortable and spacious. Each pen has an indoor area for individual pets to eat and sleep as well as access to a large outdoor play area. We ensure that all areas both inside and out are kept clean for the comfort of your dog.

Providing great care for your best friend..

Every dog staying in our boarding kennels are exercised each day. This can be increased depending on your dogs exercise needs.

If your dog has any special dietary needs that not a problem, just let us know and we can discuss the best way to make sure we meet all their needs.

For the safety of all the dogs that stay with us we can only take vaccinated animals. Kennel cough is not compulsory for your dog but we really do recommend it. If you not sure what you need to check before bringing your dog to stay with us, take a look at the “Check List” page for all the details.

Cat Boarding

Our Cattery..

Our indoor cattery has recently been refurbished to provide comfort for your feline friend whilst they’re staying with us.

Providing great care for your feline friend..

Our cattery is warm and secure with lots of space both in the play area as well as the sleeping area. We also have palmtree scratch posts for our cats.

If your cat has any special dietary needs that not a problem, just let us know and we can discuss the best way to make sure we meet all their needs.

Small Pet Boarding

Our Small Animal Hotel?..

We have recently opened our Small Animal Hotel within the grounds of our Kennels. This dedicated area is designed especially for our smaller pets such as:
  • Rabbits
  • Hamsters
  • Guinea pigs
  • Chinchillas
  • Ferrets
The hotel has individual areas for each animal offering comfort and security.

So what does it cost?..

Check List

What do I need to Check…

Before you bring your pet to stay with us there are a few things you need to check first.

  • Is your pet up-to-date with its vaccinations?
  • Do you have a record of your pets vaccinations from the vet?
  • Has it been over 2 weeks since they had their last vaccination?

If you can answer YES to all of these questions it’s looking good!

Recomendations…

There are a few recommendations we like to make to help improve your pets stay with us.

  1. Its always good to bring your pets own bed where possible. This helps them settle in and gives them a reminder of home.
  2. Its often good to bring your pets favourite toy with you, again this helps them to settle and gives them something familiar to play with. ( This excludes tennis balls for dogs)

Collection & Delivery

We also offer a local collection and delivery service for your pet. We can arrange a suitable time to come and collect your pet from your home as well as bringing them back to you when you return.

The cost for this service varies dependant on your location. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss costs based on your individual circumstances.
