Welcome to my website. My name is Mandi and I own Angel and Rubi’s Pet Care. I’ve always been passionate about pets and shared my life with them over the years. The business is named after my own two dogs who are overseas rescues.

I’m Mandi and I love walking and I love dogs which is one of the reasons I started my business.
Passionate about nutrition and animal enrichment I believe every animal deserves to be rewarded
for positive behaviour, rewards increase the chance of them doing the behaviour again, whether a
toy or a high value food I will carry their favourite treat on our walks.

Having been a Nanny for over 25 years I know how important your family members are to you that is
why safety and stimulation are two of my top priorities when looking after your dogs, cats and
horses. Having safe, fun and enriching walks my goal. I am trustworthy, reliable and professional and
love what I do.

I have two rescues from abroad, Angel and Rubi who are my world and seeing them grow into
happy, healthy dogs is simply wonderful. One of my interests is using doggy Parkour with the dogs I
walk as it is great for giving dogs a job to do. One of my dogs Rubi was extremely nervous when I got
her and using Parkour has helped build and strengthen our relationship and increased her
confidence.

Welcome to my dog walking page! I offer both solo and group walks that your dog will find both interesting and stimulating. The areas I cover include Didsbury, Levenshulme, Burnage, Withington, Chorlton, Reddish North & The 4 Heatons.

South Manchester Dog Walking Service

My dog walking services include options for both solo and group dog walks at various times during the day to suit a range of dog personalities.

Solo Dog Walks – 30 Minutes (Various Areas Including Didsbury & Chorlton)

• 30 Minute individual walks in local parks.
• Ideal for puppies who are fully vaccinated but who shouldn’t be walking long periods.
• Puppy led walks.
• Senior strolls for those dogs who need a more leisurely pace.
• Dogs who are recovering from illness or injury.

Solo Dog Walks – 1 Hour (Various Areas Including Didsbury & Chorlton)

• One hour walks for dogs who need a longer walk but are not suited to group walks.
• Nervous or anxious dogs.
• Dogs who enjoy their own space.
• Dogs who are reactive and may not like other dogs getting too close.
• Dogs and clients who just want their dog to enjoy 1 to 1 attention for the whole walk.

Solo walks are available 7 days a week. I have slots available early morning, evenings and weekends and other times subject to availability.

Group Walks – 1 Hour (Various Areas Including Didsbury & Chorlton)

• Available for friendly, sociable dogs.
• Bespoke and small groups of up to 3 dogs.
• Matching dogs for size, personality, energy levels, breed temperament and behaviour.
• Hour long walk in varied and stimulating environments such as Country Parks, Commons and Nature Reserves.
• On or off lead dependent on recall and client preference.
• Longlines used to give those dogs with limited recall some freedom.
• Positive reinforcement using communication, praise and rewards.
• Walks are the whole one hour long, not including pick up and drop off time.

South Manchester Dog Sitting Service

My dog sitting service covers the typical needs of those living in south Manchester. Whether you have a puppy or adult dog we have a service aimed at offering the type of care you need in their own home.

Home Puppy Visits – 30 Minutes

Getting a new puppy can be an exciting but scary time in equal measure especially the thought of
leaving them to go back to work. That is where Angel & Rubi Pet Care can step in to be there when
you are not. Puppies pee a lot and will need to be let out as part of your toilet training. They will also need three meals a day. We can visit your home once or twice a day for 30 minutes depending on your schedule to offer some companionship to break up their day and prevent boredom.

• For puppies not fully vaccinated and unable to go out for walks.
• Pop in service once or twice a day for 30 minute durations.
• Let your puppy in the garden / yard.
• Feed your puppy.
• Wash and refill water bowl.
• Clean any accidents and change puppy pads.
• Playtime, cuddles and positive attention.
• Can also support the ‘cues’ you are using with your pup, i.e. come and wait.

Dog Sitter Service – Various Durations
