ABOUT
Abi’s Ark was established in January 2019. Prior to this, I completed my Technical Baccalaureate in Animal management at Reaseheath college. I wanted to gain a wide range of experience before becoming self- employed. I’ve worked in a cattery, kennels, animal sanctuary, mini zoo and equine rescue.
I adopted my own dog in 2019, as an 8 week old abandoned pup. Looking after and training my own dog has given me a whole host of new skills that I can now translate into my job. His name is Rocky (pictured above with me), he’s a labrador cross staffy and can often be found on our group walks.
I’m an insured, qualified, canine first aid trained and DBS checked pet sitter and dog walker. I aim to provide 5 star care for your pets.
DOG WALKING
Can be provided as a solo walk or in a group. Solo walks are perfect for nervous dogs or those that just need some 1 to 1 attention. Group walks are always situated in the countryside, no boring concrete walks! Lots of zooming through fields, swimming and playing. No more than 4 dogs will ever be walked together.
HOME VISITS
Includes all types of pets. Whether you need a puppy popping into when you’re at work or a cat feeding while you’re on holiday. I can feed, clean, groom, play, let out or any other duties that may be required.
PET SITTING
This service is provided in your own home. I stay with your pet(s) and provide care in the comfort of their familiar surroundings. Perfect for those with multiple pets or those that can get stressed in a new environment. An added bonus is your house is also looked after (e.g. watering plants, opening/closing curtains).
