Dog Walking

All dogs need daily exercise, it helps keep them healthy, socialised, happy and out of mischief. It helps to stimulate their minds as well as their bodies. The Kennel Club recommends that a dog be walked for at least 30 to 40 minutes a day.

We will visit your house, walk your dog nearby, or we can transport him or her to a suitable area.

We offer a bespoke visit to your dog, be they young, excitable, infirm or elderly.
If they are unable or don’t like to venture away from home; we can offer pop-in garden-time visits, this is particularly popular for puppies, anxious dogs, or dogs that are in their senior years.

Dog Boarding

Preferred by most dogs and owners. For all dogs including those that are scared of kennels or suffer from kennel stress symptoms.

Animals at Home franchises have local dog boarding and Doggy Day Care host families who will care for your dog in their home while you are away on holiday or business.

All of our families have Local Authority Dog Home Boarding Licenses as required by Law, with suitable houses, gardens, training, protocol and risk assessments; and importantly, are dog lovers themselves.
We take great care to select just the right people to look after your dog.

Before commencing the Dog Boarding or Doggy Day Care Services you will be invited to visit the host family before your pet’s stay, so you can see the home your best friend will be staying in and meet the people who will look after him or her.

We match suitable hosts with the right size, breed and character that your dog requires.

Our families will only be looking after your dog, or dogs with similar needs (with both owner’s consent), so they get all the care and attention they deserve.

Cat Sitting

We at Animals at Home offer you a friendly, reliable and professional cat care service for your cats in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Many cats (and some owners) find the experience of a cattery stressful and we aim to provide a real alternative.

Our Cat Care at Home service is ideal for all sorts of cats, from independent types that like to come and go as they please through a cat flap, to elderly cats that just want to sleep in their favourite spot and of course fuss and cuddles along the way.

Cat Care Home visits include litter tray cleaning, feeding, changing water. We can even cater for cats on medication including diabetic cats as we are fully trained in administering tablets and injections.

We will also keep a good eye on your home ensuring that you can enjoy your holiday in peace.
