About us

We are a very small family run business providing dog daycare and boarding at our large home with a garden in central Herne Bay. Our aim and ethos is to give dogs a warm, loving home from home when their owners are busy or away. We adore dogs of all shapes and sizes and equipped to handle any issues or complications. We are registered at the local vets, fully insured and fully licensed by Canterbury Council.

We are Charlotte (Director, Mum and jack-of-all-trades), Cara (resident toddler) and Eddie (resident dog and registered Therapy Dog). We are a highly dog social family and regularly walk and play with many dogs at social meetups. Both dog and toddler are careful and respectful of other dogs but are also never left alone without my supervision.

I am a true dog lover. It was always my dream to be working with and involved in the care of dogs. Somehow along the way I got into construction and have worked as a high level Project Manager most recently, while dog care and study has been a side avenue. Having made the move to the coast, and living in a wonderful place such as Herne Bay, I want to work doing what I love. I have had dogs for many years, but have now complemented that with plenty of study and qualifications. I am currently an accredited dog boarder, dog groomer and dog psychologist, I am now studying high level dog behaviour and therapy and hope to run classes in the future.

DAYTIME WALKING

The walk with a difference… We may be able to offer pick up by car if convenient. We have several circular daytime walks and rotate between park, fields, woods, trails and beaches. With owners consent we like to let dogs run free as much as possible and allow them to smell, chase and play. We can also cater for difficult dogs and for 1-2-1 walks with at least 48 hours notice.

Dogs that are transported in our private car must use a tether attachment. Dogs that dislike car rides can also be accomodated and we can walk to our play destinations. All dogs are then taken home and have clean up, water and play fun games before going home.
