At Obi’s Friends, we believe every walk should be a fun and enriching experience for your dog. We are dedicated to making sure they come home happy (and tired!) after plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and socialisation!
All About Edith
I’m Edith, the proud owner of Obi’s Friends. I have been taking care of dogs from a young age and they have always been my passion. After working in the NHS for 4 years and at an independent hospital for 4 years prior to that, in June 2023 I finally decided to pursue my dream of being surrounded by dogs all day, everyday.
I am currently working towards a qualification with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) in dog training and behaviour and I regularly attend various training courses to keep my knowledge up to date and fresh.
I have also been volunteering at my local dog rescue for around a year, which has helped me gain experience with dogs of all different shapes, sizes, breeds and temperaments.
All About Obi…
I’m Obi, the proud co-owner of Obi’s Friends! I am a five year old tricolour Dalmatian rescued from the streets of Spain where I was sadly abused and neglected. When I arrived in the UK in August 2020, I was terrified of people and was too scared to leave my crate for the first 2 weeks.
With a lot of time, patience and most importantly TREATS(!), I finally started slowly showing my personality and became more and more confident every day. Fast forward to now and you would never guess that I have been through everything I have been through. I’m still a nervous boy at times, which is why my nickname is ‘chicken boy’, but my family tell me they love me just the way I am.
I can’t wait to get to know all your dogs and make some new friends!
