About Us

I’m Jo Ashton and here is a little about me and my business.

I’ve had a deep love of animals from childhood and my life has always been surrounded by them in all their shapes and sizes.

As I child I would walk neighbours dogs all day long and look after their other pets during holidays, along with my own menagerie of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish.

I have fostered dogs from various rescues (some straight from the pound and un-assessed) and all have been successfully re-homed.

I have 3 dogs of my own, Pippa (a saluki princess!), Bob (a hairy lurcher) and little Loobie (a miniature Jack Russell with a massive personality).

Like all my previous dogs, they are rescues and have had their share of challenges to deal with. You can be assured that I am an experienced dog owner with the confidence to look after your pet in a professional and caring way.

I also currently own 7 guinea pigs. They live a life of luxury and seem to rule the house!

I took the opportunity to change career in 2008 and started Diamond Pet Care which gave me my dream job of looking after animals professionally.
