About me
I am Kelly you’re local dog Walker and pet sitter in the Newark, Balderton, Fernwood and Farndon areas.
I have had dogs all my adult life until they both reached a senior age and sadly had to leave us.
I`ve owned my horse, Pye, for 7 years after loaning him for 3 years before that. We also used to own a smaller new forest pony for my young children who are now 19 and 17 and so outgrew her.
My business use to be under the name ‘Minster Pet Care’ in the Southwell and surrounding villages which I ran for a few years before closing due to personal circumstances.
I have now relocated to Newark and rebranded as Kelly’s K9s & Pet Care and welcome your dogs to be boarded in my home or other pets to be cared for in your home.
I have, at my family home, my 3 yr old Jackapoo named Cracker and we welcome your well socialised dogs into our home to be cared for and looked after whilst you can’t be there, whether for work related stays, holidays or some other reason be assured that ‘we care when you`re not there’.
Doggy daycare
As I am limited on numbers in the home and primarily offer Home Boarding rather than Day Care I can only offer full Day Care to dogs who have been Boarding with me on their last day of stay
However as an alternative I can offer a full morning session which may involve 2 walks (dependant on dog) or 1 walk and some time at my home, maybe chilling after walk and some play and toilet time before heading back home to sleep off after a busy morning with friends before the `pawrents` come back home.
Dog homeboarding
This is an alternative to kennels, for dogs that are friendly with other dogs to come into our home and be treated as our own whilst you are away.
I shall give updates and pics of your pets for your reassurance too.
Please note we do need to have your dog on a mandatory trial night before we agree to holiday cover, this is in the best interest for your dog/s, my home and my neighbours so everyone is happy.
