Hi, I’m Lisa and like you I love animals and treat my pets as one of the family.

I have had years of experience looking after my own pets, from dogs, to cats, rabbits, hamsters and a budgie too.

I was fed up of putting my cat in to a cattery when we were going away. He became stressed and sick and as a result needed medication for cystitis whenever we had to leave him. I was far happier paying someone to come round to my house to look after and feed my cat, in the comfort of his own home. I thought that I mustn’t be the only person needing someone else to come and help attend to my pet’s needs. It is this idea that led me to start up Portsmouth Pet Sitter.

Whether you are on holiday, travelling for business, or it’s just another day at the office, I will be there to feed, walk, play, and of course hug your pets. The bonus for you is absolute peace of mind knowing that your furry friends are receiving plenty of love and attention while you’re out. 

I pride myself on being an attentive, caring and reliable professional that will go above and beyond to make your pet happy and comfortable. I can customise the service offered according to yours or your pet(s) individual needs.

I am fully trained and hold a level 3 accredited certificate in Pet Sitting & Dog Walking , this includes training on animal emergency care & first aid. I am fully insured and DBS checked for your peace of mind. Certification is to be presented to clients at initial consultation. 

I previously worked as a qualified Mental Health Practitioner within the NHS for almost 10 years. I’m educated to post graduate level (Mental Health Practice) and did my first degree in Psychology (2:1), completing a dissertation on Animal Psychology, Interspecific Animal Communication & Behaviour.
