The Pet Butler

Welcome to our business, we are Hannah and Katy and it was a dream of ours for many years to start The Pet Butler. We finally took the plunge in July 2022 and here we are! 

We wanted to create a business offering bespoke services to pet owners in Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. After a lot of research we began to realise what pet owners really wanted and for many the prospect of boarding kennels and catteries simply wasn’t an option. Many boarding kennels, catteries and home boarders have to insist all pets in their care are neutered and fully vaccinated or have other restrictions. It became apparent for many this wasn’t a route they had chosen and with us being able to look after pets in their own homes it negated the need for these things. Others have realised their pets simply cannot cope being boarded because they suffer from separation anxiety or just don’t deal well with being in an unfamiliar environment. Likewise some animals become incredibly stressed on car journeys so getting them to a boarder could be a difficult time when already dealing with the stresses of getting everything together to go on a family holiday. Others have a large number of pets and boarding simply wasn’t financially practical. So, in short, this is why we do what we do. 

The pets we care for are used to their home comforts, like their own space and much prefer to be in their “safe place”. As a pet sitter we care for your pets in the comfort of their own home and we adapt to them rather than the other way round. We enable your pets to adhere to their usual routine, be walked in areas they know and sleep in their own beds. We can administer certain medications and have no issue feeding raw or special dietary requirements.

We are simply here to provide safe, loving care for your pets.
