About Me

Crawley Dog Grooming Salon & Secure Dog Walking Fields is owned by myself, Donna Mitchell. I am a fully qualified dog groomer and have completed an Advanced City and Guilds Diploma in Dog Grooming in 2005, meaning your precious furry friends are in professional and safe hands.

My aim is to ensure all dogs have a happy and positive experience with me during their time in the salon. Your dogs happiness and well-being is of paramount importance to me as I understand fully that sometimes dogs can find the grooming experience somewhat stressful if they have had a bad experience in the past. I aim to create a trusting and loving relationship with every dog, to ensure your pet is happy, relaxed and enjoys their time with me at the salon whilst being groomed, and is returned to you looking and smelling fabulous!

Dematting/Bathing

It is vital that your dog’s coat is in good condition for their welfare and well-being. However life happens and when matting occurs, you may struggle to deal with this without causing pain (and stress) in the process.

You may also struggle to give your dog a bath with ease. Through my years of experience, I have developed tricks of the trade to ensure your dog is calm and relaxed through the bathing process.

When your dog comes in for dematting/bathing, I will go through your dogs coat with a fine tooth comb to remove any matting or tangles. I use specialist shampoos to help expel excess coat and high velocity drying equipment to expel excess coat from your dogs skin which not only leaves your dog looking and feeling their best, but also has great benefits for your carpet at home!
