Dog walking

Platinum Petcare carry out regular and one off dog walking tailored to suit the needs of your dog. One of our brilliant Petcarers will pop round and take your dog on a walk that they are familiar with and to the length that you require.

Great for dogs that have trouble socialising, just want some one on one time or if they don’t like travelling in the car. Dog walking is perfect if you need to be out all day or would just like regular walks for your dog. We pride ourselves on our professional, personalised and key one to one time with your dogs. Although we have several dog walkers, you would have the same regular dog walker each time. This way your dog gets to know the person coming to visit him and they can build up a good relationship.

We have petcarers who specialise in providing 1-2-1 dog walking for those dogs who perhaps have dog on dog aggression, sensitivities to outside stimuli or just don’t have the confidence or social skills to walk in large groups. We have several years of working with rescue dogs who have previously been abused, worked (coursed) or just lacked that early socialisation.

Puppy visits

If your dog is younger, or requires more socialisation we can accommodate this too. Our petcarers can arrange to walk your dog with another that suits its temperament and personality.

As with all of our services, you will meet your petcarer before hand, and they will leave a detailed report of your dogs walks and what they got up too.

Prices: 40 minute walk – starting from £14 and 1 hour walk starting from £18. Additional dogs from the same household charged at £5 extra per dog.

Dog Home Boarding

We are very pleased to be able to offer 5* dog boarding for your dog, as licensed by Bristol City Council (Licence no: AWLA/103440 )Dog boarding will allow your dog to board with a Platinum Petcare family while you’re away. This is a great alternative to kennels and means that your dog is welcomed into a dog-loving family environment and benefits from all of the additional love and attention that this option offers. Our home boarders are fully licensed with the local authority  and carry that all important insurance.

We always have an introductory meeting / doggie sleep-over before you go away to ensure that all dogs are happy with their holiday home. You will come to meet the petcarers in their home before you go and we would also encourage a few walks with the petcarer in the interim period so that your dog is well adjusted and settled. Dog boarding is an ideal alternative to kennels as dog boarding provides a loving, home environment for your four legged friend.
