About Me

Welcome. My name is Shona and of course, I am an animal lover. I am a full time dog walker, animal carer, pet sitter, dog boarder & I will also groom your dog for those boarding if you require.  I have a National Certificate in animal care.  I also completed a course in dog grooming at Technogroom in Carluke a few years ago.  I have full pet insurance. I’m fit & healthy & I would love to walk for miles in the surrounding countryside with your dog.

I’ve always had animals in my life as a child & an adult.  At present I have 2 cats called Dixie & Daisy, they prefer to stay out of the way of any the dogs or other animals in my care.  My house is designed in such a way that they have their half at the front & the dogs have the rear of the house & garden.

My future plan is to build a purpose built cattery so I can care for your cat in a secure environment giving you peace of mind that its safe, well cared for, happy & content while you are away.

This is the best job on the planet and I pride myself on offering a quality service that benefits and enriches your animals life.

Dog Walking

No one likes being cooped up all day, least of all dogs.  A dog has a desire to socialise and play, and so needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation. My service is ideal if you work, need to go out for the day, or cannot walk your dog for any reason.

To enhance your dog’s enjoyment, I like to vary the walks in local woodlands, local castle grounds, parks & along the River Dee.  At lunchtimes, Monday to Friday, I group walk a pack of up to 6 dogs.  They get along so well together & really enjoy each others company.

Your pet’s security and welfare are paramount and your pet will be given lots of attention and be treated as though it’s my own. I need my clients to complete a short questionnaire to provide vet details, microchip number, emergency telephone number & highlight any issues with your dog.

Dog Boarding in Aberdeen.

I provide dog boarding in Aberdeen. Some dogs can get very stressed by being kept in kennels. I offer a loving, secure, home environment for your dog while you are away.  Your dog will stay with me in my home when you go on holiday or away for the weekend. This service includes a minimum of two 1 hour walks. (or less, if your dog requires it)

Stressless environment.

I will ensure your dog gets lots attention, play and cuddles. I provide a quiet home environment with no children. This is great for nervous dogs or for older dogs that prefer a quieter life.

Settling in.

Before choosing any dog boarding in Aberdeen, I encourage you to visit me in my home with your dog so you can both get to know me and the environment.  For those dogs that don’t already know me, I also offer an afternoon’s board (including a short walk where appropriate) prior to the first time your dog stays with me so we can ensure your dog is settled.

One to one care.

I board no more than 1 dog at any one time to ensure my full attention, please contact me for availability.
