This is the official website. Potential adopters can only view a dog once we have spoken with you and carried out a home visit.
We are happy to accept a minimum donation of £250 to adopt a dog. This is vital funding to support our kennelling and veterinary costs and to enable us to service our voucher scheme which is exclusive to our adopters.

Potential adopters should note that certain dogs generate multiple enquiries, we will review the pro-forma and contact those we select to discuss further. We appreciate your interest but please accept our apologies as we are unable to contact everyone personally.
Dogs in training
At a croft on a windswept hillside somewhere in Aberdeenshire, is our small canine dog training facility run by two brothers and their mother who volunteer their property. Here reside, on a permanent basis, a pack of one time canine misfits who for one reason or another are not suitable for re-homing and because we got so attached to them and knew that it would be difficult to find that perfect home, we decided to adopt them, knowing they would be safe and looked after for the rest of their lives.
The croft is not just home to the BARRK Pack, it also provides rehabilitation for any dangerous or disturbed dog that comes into BARRK’s care and once rehabilitated these dogs are found new homes.
